Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I was just checking to see if anyone has been to banks lake in the last few days. Last I heard it was still 70% frozen. Someone said there were people ice fishing on the south end. We have Nw bass in less that 2 weeks at Banks.
Just need to know if I need to bring my ice auger!

As of this morning the ice is all but off of the lake. I'm told that portions inside the south marina as well as a small section around Goose still has "floaters" but for the most part all of the bays and the main lake north to south is clear. Chris---leave your auger at home. I would opt to bring my boat instead! As always please feel free to call me with questions.
Take good care

I didn't mention that my source also told me that the water temp is 41. Warmer than I would expect, but as I recall about the same as last year.
Again---take care

Sweet! Thanks Gary. Your source didn't happen to mention where the fish are and what they are biting did he? Lol just kiddin. I'll leave the auger at home this time.
