Hay guys, my dad and i are going over to banks lake area for opening weekend. iv'e heard there is real good smallmouth fishing there, but i have never been there so... my questions what works good, where on the lake are some good places to fish,etc... we have a fish finder.
just anything that can help us be successful there would be appreciated.

They just had a tournament over there last weekend from what I heard a lot of fish where caught pretty shallow on reaction baits.
I usually only cut their sides off, then I let them go. That's the only thing I ever keep are their sides.
Mark Jacobs snagged, and landed, a filleted smallie in the mouth during the Riffe Lake TBF Qualifier last year. I saw a picture. Kind of random but it was pretty stinkin' funny!
