Me and Dez will be fishing it together this weekend. I will be there Friday morning. I will be giving free battery checks and be selling batteries during registration. Looking forward to the good turnout!!!
PS. Pre-fished on Sunday, touched 1 fish all day....but with the warming trend, things should get better!
Hell ya man. That will be great. Come see me, or give me a call on Friday when you are on your way. We are going to stop and fish a small lake just out of wenatchee for a few hours but other then that I should be there. If you need anything let me know and make sure to say hi.

David Parnicky said:So inspiration struck in the last two hours and Im gonna give NWBass a go for the first time this year! Im driving up Friday and registering! I talked my neighbor Mike into fishing these with me. Gotta start sometime right? I have absolutely 0 expectations for how I do, but I am going to try as hard as I can, learn as much as possible from the experience, have a lot of fun, and be ready to do better next year! See everyone Saturday!
Steve Cotton and myself will be fishing the circuit this year. Pre-fished last weekend, and caught tons of fish in 75' of water. I'm sure some fish will move shallower with the warmer weather, so we will be looking to catch some in the 50' range this weekend. Had to fish super slow with 1/8oz darter heads, and 3" ikas. If it hadn't taken 5 minutes for our baits to get to the bottom, we would have hooked a lot more.

Congrats to all who did well! Banks was fishing very tough. I gambled for LM a lot and it didn't pay off at all. I caught one little smallie for 1.8 lbs. Definately learned a bunch, met some cool people and had a good time. The biggest thing i learned was to pay attention to every sign the fish give you. Even though I thought I was pretty good at this, I was way too stubborn about how I was fishing at this tournament. I came into the tournament thinking the main lake would be too cold for a consistent bite, and the bays would be the place to be. i figured even if I couldn't catch a LM, there would be some smallies there too and I could at least get them to go. After 1/2 a day of zilch fishing for LM, catching a 1.8 smallie on the main lake is definately something and I feel I should have stuck the main lake bite out more. Instead I got frustrated about the size of that fish and ran back to my LM areas which I obviously didn't have figured out very well. These are thedecisions I think you learn how to make better by fishing more tournaments. Overall, it was a great experience for my first NWBass tournament though.
P.S. I really appreciate and want to thank Gary Stiles and Jeff Priester being very kind, approachable and easy to come to for questions regarding the tournaments. This really helped out with the overall experience of fishing my first NWBass tournament and got us in the water before the crowd of boats right before the drivers meeting! The NWBass tournaments are very well run!
Also, I really want to thank Brian Walters for helping me. Being able to talk to people that have done these before really helps a lot! Thanks man!
Mike and I will definately be fishing the rest of the series this year. Can't wait!
