Rapjohn and Silver just opened harts has been open for a while. So if you are looking for reports on the two you will probably have to wait since today was the opening.

For its size,Rapjohn kicks out some great bass but I'd holdoff a bit. That lake is being hammered by the opener or wait it out for a little later in the day/evening. The trout guys typically show up pretty early in the AM. I suspect that Harts is under going the same, granted, its year round but seems like the regulars of opening day are not aware of this.

In a few weeks you might also consider Tanwax. Bass fishing is pretty good and if they don't cooperate you can always go after the crappies.

Whichever you choose, best of luck out there

oh ya i forgot that would be pointless to go out after they just had there openers thanks. and ill look into tanwax iv fished it before but that was a long time ago when i was around 12 so i dont remember a thing but that will just be one more lake to go hit because im going to be doing alot more bass fishin this year so all the tips and help i get are great!

thanks again

If harts sucks, and sawyer sucks and tapps somewhat sucks and clear is cold, then what the hell else we got to try. lol
Fishing sucks. Take up rollerblading, that's where its at!

dude thats a great idea, i could get a real nice set of rollerblades if i traded my boat.

You fished tapps at all this weekend aaron

Yup. Nice day on the water, a few fish. Broke off a big tiger. mostly just looked at some new to me areas today. There is lots of good water in that lake.
Bladers for life. Seriously wtf did that come from.

"mostly just looked at some new to me areas today" This is just an excuse, for not catching anything or not very much, just because you looked for new areas does not mean you don't catch any fish. The thing is when you find an area you still fish it right?  Why didnt you just say the fishing sucked?

It was a searching day by design. We fished some areas that we had never fished before, and spent lots of time on the trolling motor just cruzing and looking. We caught 7 or 8, but to me a good day at tapps is a 20 plus fish day. We may have been able to do that if we fished known water, but that wasn't the goal.

Since we re talking about excuses, what's your excuse for the berkley? I'm guessing it was your partners fault....
