Congrats Dez on your first win. Winning a Hawg Hunters tournament is not easy and always super competitive.

Doug im gonna kill ya for doing this man !!! lol

Yes after joining the hawghunters 4 years ago i managed too pull off my first club win on lk washington this past wkend ..

DAY 1 (Saturday ) i put 15.60lbs on the scales which included a 4lb LMB (my big fish) ...

Sunday i put 11+lbs on scales which was good enough for the 1st place win ..

This win does mean alot too me because like doug mentioned it is not easy too capture a win in our club . We have a very competive group and these guys have been fishing lk washington wayyyy longer than i have , Im very grateful too say the least .

I do want too point that had i not caught my 4lb LMB  i would not have placed first ..That pig ate "MR TAG WATSONS CUSTOM BUILT JIG" .. Taggy i thankyou brother for making a great awesome jig :-) ..

I found that bass are still in all three phases on the lake (pre , spawn, post).. Most of my bites took place dropswiming the panic minnow on the outside weed edges , and the jerkbait also gave me some quality bites through out the day .

No b.s guys  I have been fishing the same pattern and the same baits since april ..lol

This season has been soo weird ..

Thanks for the props gentleman see ya on the water :-)

Good job Dez! Doesnt suprise me you got mad skills. Thanks for your help on WA earlier this year it helped me a lot.

Dez you are welcome. Haha! Good job buddy.

Now I see why you want to go fishing on Whatcom this Sunday! Haha! j/k  Congrats again on the Washington win and thanks for the tourney run down!  Very cool!  I'm looking forward to fishing Whatcom with you on Sunday!  Should be fun!  One of my friends is having his bachelor party the night before though so no guarantees on what kind of shape I will be in! You might have to run the trolling motor every now and then while I take a nap :)

Congrats,   now why don't you come over the next day or so and tell me what you used. You know i have been out of commission for so long now i don't remember how to catch fish.

I do have to say thanks to Russ, Daniel, Chris and who ever else at Limit out marine for the work they did on my boat. It was a struggle to get them all the correct parts but they were patient and helped me with the turd i call a boat.
