So, i figured with the new baby here, its time for some one on one with my other daughters. They really wanna go fishing and they really wanna catch a smallmouth. So here iam rapping my brain on what to do??? I dont no washington to well except acouple spots B.B.D. told me to try back in march. So what im looking for is some advice on depths, color and possiable area's to try for some fall smallie's!!!! So fari just plan on a carolina rig with a twin tail 176 and a 4inch june bug lizard. i prolly got about 5 hours before my 7 yearold is pooped, or sooner if the weather gets her lol
Ive also thought about black lake in thurston or riffe? just wonderin.... talked to a guy at allen york earlier, said him and his boy caught a few down around 30 feet off points.

thinkin ill head to silver in cowlitz and pitch jigs, rip some cranks and have the girls throw some crappie jigs. its gonna be a long week lol :-)
Don't listen to Chad "The Troller" Simon. The dropshot bite out there is still really good and this gives you a real good shot at some good smallmouth and even perch. On the business end, a sniper snub or triggergrub will work well with a 1/4 or 3/8oz weight below it. They don't have to do much to work it, just throw it out there and hangon until one bites, then reel in, even Chad could figure that out without keeping the trolling motor on high.
The spots BBD gave you for march will probably work fine now as well. 20-30 feet deep seems to be where most are concentrated.
cool! its always so tough to decide where to go with so little time to spend fishing lol
Plus, if anything, the aqua view will have um hooked for hours :-D
