thinkin ill head to silver in cowlitz and pitch jigs, rip some cranks and have the girls throw some crappie jigs. its gonna be a long week lol :-)

Fish a rev rig around 30ft. Fish points, and other rocky areas you know of. The rev rig is great for kids, because you don't have to detect a bite "the fish hook themselves".

Don't listen to Chad "The Troller" Simon. The dropshot bite out there is still really good and this gives you a real good shot at some good smallmouth and even perch. On the business end, a sniper snub or triggergrub will work well with a 1/4 or 3/8oz weight below it. They don't have to do much to work it, just throw it out there and hangon until one bites, then reel in, even Chad could figure that out without keeping the trolling motor on high.

The spots BBD gave you for march will probably work fine now as well. 20-30 feet deep seems to be where most are concentrated.

cool! its always so tough to decide where to go with so little time to spend fishing lol

Plus, if anything, the aqua view will have um hooked for hours :-D

The bridge pilings in the east channel under the I90 bridge always hold alot of smallies. The bottom of the footings are at a good depth for this time of year.
