I believe they are supposed to have it full by Memorial Day.  I wish they didn't drain it though.  I bet it would be a great winter lake.

Heard from a buddy that they've hooked a couple from the bank on deeper points. Wish there was some place to put in. THe lake is on;y 5 minutes from my place.

Todays paper said Tapps would start being filled on March 12 and should be full by April 15.

I just got a little card in the mail from Cascade Water Alliance stating the same thing.  It says it can rise as much as a foot a day with the goal to be filled by April 15th.  Sweet!!!!!!!!

Hey Dez, I would love to.  I am not much of a musky guy as of yet.  I have only caught a couple of decent ones.  I am actually still figuring this lake out and I have a ways to go.  I didn't actually get to fish it that much last summer, but I will be launching the boat the first day I can this year.  I plan on putting a lot more time on the water and you are always more than welcome to come along.

Although it might be a little time consuming,you can usually drop a boat in prior to full pool. Took my boy up there the other day to have a look,still pretty low but you can probably catch a ton of left over gear from last year. Dez,give me a shout if you want to try some musky. I'm taking a break from the tournament scene this year and just getting back to more "fun" fishing.

I need the water to come up probably 2-3 feet before I can drop my boat in.  My neighbor dropped a few brush piles in and they are right at the end of my launch.  Can't wait to get out and try this lake this time of year.  I've only fished it after June. What time do the muskies start showing up?

Hey so whats up with this whole pulling back talk im hearing ..lol  Dude it would be killer to get on some  of those swimming logs in tapps this spring for sure , Big Balling D.J has a house somewhere near the lake i assume , so they yeah lets put a date together and make it happen ...btw kev since your pulling back this year i take it you dont mind us using all your killer baits that day right !! lmao    just lmk and good hearing from ya :)

Hey DJ, I would say usually by the back end of May but that doesn't mean they won't show much earlier but that seems to be the approx.time that they are more visible and active but I started hooking them last year around mid March. Anytime you want to head out,let me know. I'm certainly not an expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn.
