I personally had a great time out on the water even though the fishing was tough . Moving it back to Sammamish would be silly just because the fishing was tough. Thats the name of the game! We cant change the weather and we cant change the fish. The fish were deffinetley on the move like Ron said. One minute they are there and the next minute its a ghost town. Hard to catch fish on the move  .I figured it was gonna be like that before i even got there. There were a total of 8 fish caught on sunday for the Puyallup tourney,21 anglers i believe. Wind blew out of the north all day just like saturday. I just learn from it and move on. I vote Washington again.

What if we moved it to the first weekend of March?

Adjusting the date was my thought also.

Come on Clifford,Riffe in March? We could play dodge the logs! Im good at that. Go to bed!

Instead of boats, we could all use quads.

When I fished tournaments in southern California, you had to take a number to fish any particular spot, and every spot you could assume had already been pounded.  Makes for a great excuse for those who do poorly, yet someone always wins and takes home the money.  You definitely learn to adjust if you want to fish.

Washington anglers have no idea how spoiled they are, or how easy they have it.

I'm definitely in for Washington again.  Did it fish tough this past weekend, hell yeah.  Is it capable of producing a really BIG bag at this time of year, definitely.  Done it plenty of times myself.  That's fishing.  What I enjoy about it, is the amount of water you can cover to try and get something going.  We hit 18 spots on Saturday without really having to fight to get onto any spot.  And I felt that anyone of those places could have produced multiple fish.  And it really wouldn't have mattered if there were another 15 boats on the water or not, that to me is the beauty of Washington.  Is a big lake with lots of good water to fish.  As to fishing Sammmamish with alot of boats, it's like Ron said, you fight your way onto the spots you want to fish and try and make it happen.  Just part of tourney fishing.

How big is a spot? When you troll your rev-rig from Coleman point to the P-hole, how many spots have you covered? Is that whole troll just considered one spot, or would you consider that three spots? I wish I could have seen your merry-go-round in the morning with the other boats! I heard Berto kept casting in front of your troll line, making it hard for you guys.

LMAO, now that's funny.....  Uh yeah, I trolled my rev rig from Coleman to P hole and to me that's one spot.  And everyone in my way got a big ole ear full for being on my SPOT.  Actually Coleman was kinda fun in the morning with Ron at the end of the point, with Duece / Berto, Ferry / Cpt Dan and me and Little Joker fighting over a 100 yards of turf.......  It's all in good fun, had no issue with Ferry stopping right on top of me and cutting me off.  I just started throwing into his livewell!!!!!

Seriously a spot to me is the small area within the big area.  I. E. I was trying to hit 3 little rockpiles on Coleman ( an area ).  I didn't even bother hitting P-hole or a couple other " spots " that had boats on them when I went by.  Or just hit them later when no one was on the specific spot I wanted to fish.

Once again Marc , YOU NAILED IT !

Im a student of Bass angling which is completey different than becoming a Lake specailist,  that would be the role of a Fishing Guide right ?  ..haha

If you ask  most FLW tour pro's about being able to adjust your skillset to match any lake , anywhere , anytime . The first thing they say is "this is what seperates the best anglers from good anglers"   ..real talk !
