Palaniuk is gonna have one hell of a story after this tourney.  Takes a treble into the bone of his finger, has a mid-day ER visit and still catches 24lbs. Hope he can keep it going.

Wow....i'd say he sacked em today. Even better is VanDamn not in contention. How did his son ever qualify to fish the Elite series anyway?

I am almost positive that the guy you are talking about is his nephew.....

That hook in the hand must have hurt bad because Brandon's a tough dude!  He was a 2 time high school state wrestling champion and he got 3rd another year.  He finished the final round of one of his wins with a broken arm and still won it.

I watched the final weigh in online, was great to see him win it. The call with his mom was priceless. 

On another note, It seems every time I watch one these, its always horrible streaming. Bassmaster really needs to work on their technology. Poorly designed solution to provide this feed.

It has been great to see him take the top spot, and the write up's have been fun to follow. Aweome showing Brandon
