How did the Jamboree fish for those of you that made the trip for the long weekend?

The fishing was TOUGH for me!  I am sure there are some that experienced some great fishing though.  All the areas that I was sure I was going to wail on them weren't producing hardly anything and I had to run all over looking for good stuff on the graph just to find fish to catch.  It seemed like outside of a few select protected places that warmed up Saturday afternoon, the water got colder everywhere as the weekend went on.  I think they were pumping heavily out of Roosevelt and it was confusing the fish.  A few spots hit 58 Sat afternoon and Monday morning but everywhere else seemed to be between 53-55 degrees.

I still had a blast though!  I love turning the jamboree into a nice long fishing/camping trip every year.  I always look forward to going!  Between seeing everyone, the bbq, the raffle, hearing whats going on with TBF, and hanging out with the Borderline crew, it is just all around fun times the entire time no matter how the fishing goes!

Brian Merlini won the event with just over 38 lbs. 61 boats light for 2012 would have loved to seen more. The weather was near perfect other than a little wind on Saturday.
