Just a heads up to all angler's headed to Riffe Lake. We were there this last weekend for the ABA and had someone steal 6 of Henry's fishing rods and my front fish finder (HDS-8) off my front deck. We were staying at Taidnapam Park in spot #30. My boat was covered and still hooked up to Henry's motor home but they pulled the cover back and took the stuff sometime Friday night, Saturday morning.
Just a heads up for anyone who may be going there.

This comment probably doesn't apply here, but it seems to me if you have an access stewardship permit or discovery pass, you should be guaranteed some sort of security. This crap is happening way too often.
I agree guys. A buddy told me that there were 3 other theft's this weekend and Lake Washington during the Federation tourney. At Coulon Park of all places.
I would love to catch one of them in the act of stealing. Would not be pretty

Mike,
I won't argue with the butt kicking part and I'm sorry to hear you guys got took. However, I see many fishermen setting themselves up to be had. Don't make it easy for these idiots. Remove graphs, don't leave rods on the deck, lock hatches and always cover up. I realize that the determined piece of crap can still get you, make them work for it. It might just buy you enough time to get full sights on them with your Glock. Till this country wakes up and quits defending these sub par human beings, expect more. We support people through our hard working tax dollars that are nothing but a waste of skin. Fu<$ing wake up America and take your country back.

Appreciate the heads up and sorry to hear about your ordeal with these pricks. Taidnapam has been a favorite camping spot with the family but now that spot can be added to the meth head hub.Sad indeed, maybe it's time I seriously consider a sidearm....maybe make a new catfish hole.....
