Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I think the time has come to join a club. Not totally comitted yet but I feel that the only way I am going to step up my game is by fishing with other people and possibly in a more competetive environment. I fish with a couple guys but we all have our own things going on and it makes it hard to get together as often as we would like. It would also be an advantage to look and possible try out different techniques without wasting money on something that doesnt work out after a short time.
The question is: Are there any bass clubs in the Seattle area. I live between downtown and Ballard. Thanks

2nd that. We have a growing club with a bunch of up and comers. Definately worth a look!
Northend meets just north of 520 in Bothel. Western meets just south of I90. WBA is north in Lynnwood/Mukilteo area. Hope that helps

watch out for guys claiming to be elite ;)
Hey Troy, I live in Seatac and I currently fish with Western Bass Club and Rainier Bass. I will be fishing with Washington Bass this year also. My goal is to get better at fishing and also learn the waters and these Clubs have members that are willing to give advice to help you get better as well. The guys I fish with are all nice people and I have alot of fun fishing and learning new techniques as well as making new friends. Western Bass and Washington bass have websites you can check out.

Yea I live in the same area. I was a member of both cast masters and western. Both were great clubs. Cast masters is really informal w/ not much competition. However I now work Sundays and can't find a club in the area that only fishes on Saturdays. However western does have a get together "fish-in" once a month on Sat and so I still get to attend those. If anyone knows of any other clubs that fish on Saturdays only I would appreciate that info.
I am in the Western Bass Club also, out of Renton. A great club and always willing to to help with info, it is truly a great learning club. We meet every 3rd Thursday at 7PM at the Kennydale Hall in Renton off of the 30th ave. Exit of 405

I would recomend adding the Castmasters Bass Club to your list of possilbe clubs. We are very similiar to Western Bass Club. We meet the second Wednesday starting in March through October. Non competitve and always teaching bass fishing. Sharing information is always on the agenda. We have club contests and fish-ins. check it out at www.castmastersbassclub.com when we get our site up in running soon. It is currently being revamped.
