Eric deep down inside your really a spelling bee champ ! so for that i say to you "Congrats" !

So I guess that is everyone except Dez.
When you combine the words "you are" it is spelled "you're". The apostrophe takes the place of a letter. You see how that works? If it is still unclear I will try and have my 4th grader explain it to you.
It is amazing to me how many people make that mistake. The other one people seem to be baffled by is the difference between there, their, and they're. If you guys could get a grasp on this I would be shocked.
I don't correct every misspelling here but I feel obligated to step in when things dip below what would be considered functionally literate.

Don't let Eric fool you, I know for a fact he has spell check on his computer that he uses, and has no problem spell checking everyone of his threads. I don't know if he has grammar check as well, but I would not be very surprised. So I think you have been mislead if you thought Eric as a scholarly speller.

Good Job Everyone. Aaron I think over half of the field of competitors were from the Hawg Hunters so don't get all wet when half the team is from your club. I was told it was like a glorified Hawg Hunter Club Tournament, with Larry running the show, even though he is not even the Tournament Director.
Were there not less than 25 boats? What happened to the good ol' days when there was 50-60 boats? None the less congrats to all who made the state team, regionals will be fun and who ever makes it to nationals is in for a treat!

Hey Ron , I think the biggest reason behind the # of boats for this year compared to prior years is the fact that there wasnt a boat giving away !! If all an angler has to do is fish three events and there name goes in a hat for a free boat , well thats more motivating than a $500-1000 cash prize give away IMO.. hard times man , less support , equals low turn out in # 's !!

They have grammar check? That is awesome.
I do use spell check every time I am unsure about how a word is spelled.
If everyone did this we might have a chance to dispel the paradigm that all bass fishermen are idiots.
