Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Let's get serious tackle swap going. I know i don't spend much time or contribute much on the site but i would like to get a swap going, or at least find out who would be interested, and go from there. I have ton's of stuff i don't use and don't need but would venture to believe others could or would. I'm pretty sure i could arrange the Costco Corporate 800 building parking lot for it. Plus i would be willing to provide refreshments sodees and dawg's and morning coffee and pastries, that yes, a booth would sell to donate to a worthy charitee. I would not sell Snubs and Bolts or the new 5'' inch or 6 " Bolts or even the JRS Magnum's they do not work. But Sniper would have " NEW " Sniper branded apparell on site to offer. So give feed back and i will push the issue ! ! !

Dan,
What about holding the event on Sunday May 16th, the day after NWB is at Lake Washington?
If we get the word out soon, some of the east side anglers may make plans to stay over and take advantage!
Your thoughts?

Gary, that sounds like a great idea. I believe it would really get a great attendance if it was that weekend.
I think it would be cool if we could get some of the local guys there too selling new stuff ie. Sniper, KGM, WCCT, etc... not to mention if you could get local tackle shops like Three Rivers and Auburn Sports to come too. This may help with there not being all junk. But it could be one of those things where one mans trash is anothers treasure.
Gary, you better not be selling that extension cord you stole from me at lake coeur d alene a couple years ago. i want that back! haha

that's the point of it Jordan .... one man's trash ! glad you can see that. you're input is valuable though and i am trying to make this happen but am running into some road blocks. I have soem unexpected business happening and that comes first. For the most part, like i said from the beggining, i am testing the waters to see what kind of interest is out there. i am impressed and the idea now seems worth the while. but the idea might have to take a back seat to real money $$$

No need to rush to a date. We have all summer to have this thing. I would like to get something huge going like you see in California. Kind of like "bass weekend expo" or something like that. Heck, I would even like to see the rebirth of the Big Bass Blast and have a bass expo at the same time. That dang tournament brought a ton of people that just like to fish but do not take it quite as seriously as most of us. I am just tossing some added ideas out, they might be pretty stupid, just crap off the top of my head. I just hate seeing all of this fun crap relating to fishing expos and seminars going on everywhere but here. I am sure there are enough people here willing to help do the leg work on this to get it going full speed.
