Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I just got off the phone with Russell Baker. He was so excited I could not even understand him. After he calmed down a bit he said " You won't believe what is in my live well. I got me a 9 pounder!" He said the scale they weighed her on said 8 pounds 14 ounces. They are going to weigh her again and get some pictures which I am sure he will be posting soon. So I would have to say if his story holds up he has the big-un of the year to this point. Phil Mehrtens is with him and they both sounded like a couple of nuts on the phone. Congratulations Russell. I can't wait to see some pictures!

I'm sure the fish is green but there is definitely something brown about this topic.

Congratulations, Russ.

I am assuming we are talking green and not brown?

When he said he was on "pins and needles" I thought maybe he was sitting on your lap.

Bess,

Would you be willing to be my play by play announcer for tomorrow's fishing trip? I will give you hourly updates and you can keep all of our friends here on Wafish up to speed.

I thought the NCAA tournament was distracting but this is just too much. I am literally on pins and needles. We should try to get a live feed next time somone from this site goes fishing.
Evidently some people are too dumbe to sense my sarcasm.

Dumbe? Is that the Engrish spelling of the word?

Where is the photo?
I don't know Lloyd, but I sure hope the quality is as good if not better that your avatar. You know, the photo of you holding one of those big pillows that are shaped like a bass. I love those pillows.
I never have heard toothpick on orange. Sound like a good treat. How about throw hotdog down a hallway??? ha ha ha
I have been at a meeting since dropping off the Mythical Phoenx, but will have to post a picture of my personal best tomorrow. Her final weight was 9 lbs even.

Great way to start out with my first green fish in a Phoenix.

Russ
Congrats on your 'Big Fish'.
So it really happened then? Wow, that is a giant.
I was thinking maybe they were messing with Mark and he got all excited and posted before he found out it.
Awesome fish Russ. Can't wait to see the pic.
