Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I don't know how many people bought the two pole endorsement. I bought mine. Will I be able to use two poles in tournaments? Are events going to specify in the rules?

I spent many years in England, and fishing there means from the bank. So I really learned the benifit of multi pole use fishing for pike. I'm not sure how you would benifit from multi pole in bass fishing. I understand it's application for crappie and other panfish, and definitely for pike/muskie but there doesn't seem to my much bottom fishing where you cast out and let it sit for bass. I haven't considered the two pole because of this. Please enlighten me so maybe my thick scull can understand the benifit. I know this in no way answers your question, I just didn't realize it was a concern or consideration in the bass world, so I thought I'd pipe in...
It would have to be stated in the Tournament Rules. And even it it was don't get caught with 2 Ploes on either Sammamish or Washington as these 2 on the exclusion list of Washington.
see the full list of excluded lakes @ http://wdfw.wa.gov/licensing/twopole/lakes.php

Northwest Bass will not allow two rods to be used by a single angler at the same time in any NWB Qualifier or in the NWB Championship. The offical rule may be found in the "Tackle and Equipment" section of the offical rules for Northwest Bass. www.nwbass.net
Thanks

Back out to the garage to take the pole holders off. I've had visions of trolling around 4 crankbaits in the opener all winter long! Thanks for shattering my dream Stiles!
