Beth- now I understand your "frustration". I would love to take you and Amy out sometime and show you the ropes. Let me know.....
Beth said:I am frustrated but in 'frustrated' another sense. Plus Amy and I got into a spat this weekend. I was practicing trying to tie a knot but it wasnt going so well. She knows be better than anyone else, and got under my skin. That is where I threw my rod down. All is good now I hope, I just needed to vent. Those websites will work like a charm for future reference.
I haven't fished here yet, but from what everyone has told me on the site, it is much harder to catch here than home. Is this true?
Atta boy Mike!
It's good to see someone willing to help out.

That is a good point about the pressure on Calif. lakes, I keep forgetting about that.

It depends where you are fishing and when. There are quite a few lakes/rivers in WA where 20, 30, or even 100 fish days are not unheard of. I've heard many lakes in CA are heavily pressured and fish are weary....so to answer your question, No. In many cases fish may be easier to catch in WA.

There are some wonderful fishing opportunities here in Western Washington, Beth. Mike Bess lives on Lake Tapps and can put you and Amy and some incredible fishing this Spring. He is essentially a bass magnet.

Mike is definitely set up to help the ladies out. He lives on the lake, has a load of equipment, a hot tub for some evening fun, and a ton of experience that they'll be very appreciative of. I have no doubt that if they give him a shot they will be in awe of his talents.

And don't forget he is semi-pro staff and can supply them with a sample of his pro staff baits.
