Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

The TBF divisionals are coming up at the end of this month over at Yellowtail Reservoir in Montana. I have never been there and can't seem to get in touch with anyone over there who has. The tackle shops that I have contacted don't have any kinds of maps or anything either. Has anyone ever fished it or does anyone know someone that has and wouldn't mind passing on some information. Feel free to send me a message if you'd prefer.

Thanks in advance.

Jordan talk to Jeff Boyer
Google Earth has a June 2009 date on the photo. With Google Earth and the poor map you should be able to find some areas to check out.

Its gonna be "7 Days of Dinks " IMO ... kinda reminds me of Banks lake minus the 3lb+ smallies :-( .....ooo well still gonna make the best of it !
Hey Jordan, It does look like it's going to play out like Banks. All of my research suggest small bags. Winning bags going usually around 8#. As you probably know, it will most likely be a bed game to get those 2#ers. I'm expecting pre, spawn, and post? It's tough getting insight on the lake other than the web. I doubt those Montana boys want to give up too much. I think your best advantage will be being boater picking off them beds, although the bigger onesmay have already spawned by the time we get there? Looking forward to the puzzle
I just talked to an elevator colligue of mine and he said the occasional 3 and 4 lb smallie are caught this time of year and as of Tuesday he said that the males have started to move up to make beds.
Did he say what his favorite bait is for that lake ? Did he say exactly where he found them spawning ? did he say what the water temps are ? Come on Ryan get your head in the game !! :-)
