The Jamboree went pretty well. The turnout was severely low though. Only 79 boats, with around 150 anglers or so. But the event as usual was ran very well by WSBF. The weather sucked, but some fish were caught. As usual there were plenty of 6 lb. limits, with a 3.50 lb. fish taking big fish and taking home an Interstate Battery.
The winner was Mitch Ratchford's son Chase, with I believe 35 lbs for the weekend. To crack the top 10 you needed 25 lbs. I finished 9th with 26.25lbs for the weekend, first top 10 finish in the Jamboree, so that was pretty cool.
A mix of fish in all stages of spawn, the key was to find the big pre-spawners, or the long and skinny post spawners, with a few bed fish mixed in.
