Split Day Tourney

August 21st at the Tacoma City Light launch. 6am mandatory contestants meeting.

Come early enough to launch prior to the meeting or you'll be launching when the rest of us are fishing.

$20 entry fee per person. Affordable enough for the whole family. Pay out to 1st - 5th based on number of entries.

Double and Triple Option Pots also available for $5 each per person. Pay out is 1st - 3rd on these.

All CMA 'member/club' tournament pots are progressive. Meaning that if they are not won, they will carry over to the next club tournament. This includes the main event purse and option pots.

As of now, there is about $100 in each, the dbl and trpl option pots to carry over to this coming tournament.

Split Day means we'll be fishing till noon, coming in for lunch, beaching our boats, enjoying each others company and eating a great lunch. Then going back out about 2 for a few more hours of great musky fishing. Early morning and late afternoon is good fishing and this way we'll hit them both.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided by the club. Bring a dish to pass to compliment the hot dogs and hamburgers. No time to make a dish, no problem, please make a donation the club to cover the cost of the meal.

Gayle Reis will be guarding our picnic area from early on till noon. She can also keep an eye on your coolers etc if you'd like to store them with her.

Also, bring a lawn chair.

Really hope to see you there, Any questions at all, contact me.

1 week away.
With these warmer temps this weekend and through Tuesday for now..Maybe it will warm up the water temps and get those bad girls active..Have not heard any positive reports from Marshall about many fish at all being caught this year..So far only a few. That main flat has been getting just obliterated by ski boats and other vessels..We need to get ahold of the Cowlitz County Sherriff and see if they can repost those 5mph buoys..A safety hazard! You all know the # for those chap? If so call them and tell them that partyers are trashing the Duck Blind area with beer cans and such! Bring a garbage bag with you next weekend. We may have to do a summer clean up! Off my rant now...Good luck next weekend..I m looking to put a trio of Tigers in the net myself! Game on! See ya on the water, todd
I know I won't be able to fish but hoping to stop by for the BBQ lunch.
I wish you all the best of luck out there

We are splitting the day. Fishing from 6 am or so until 11 am. Breaking for lunch. Then Starting up again at 1 pm until 5pm. So it should be a a great day for fishing. Just heard a front was moving in later in the evening so this should kick those big girls into action. Heard that the water temp was up closer to 70 degrees which is the warmest i have heard since last year.
As far as the barbeque goes..CMA is getting burgers, hot dogs and the condiments that go along. If anyone has extra charcoal bring it. There are some grills there..looking forward to this date for awhile..got quite a few folks coming. So bring a dish and some utensils it'll be a great day.Contact me at 253.985.0414 or email me through this site or my email is ratherbefishin@nventure.com thanks, todd reis
