There are a ton of Pros who listen to music in their boats, most of the time you hear country, Chris Zaldain is always rocking to his ipod, he told me his music selection changes with his technique.
If I am fun fishing I like to listen to Gary Sheibler and the World's Greatest Fishing Band; 4 CD set called "Papa Was A Fishin Man". It also keeps me awake on the way home from Banks Lake unless there is a Mariner's or Seahawk game on XM.

ciao,
Marc

The best is the guy who has the music turned up and can't hear the wolf-pack of smallies 15 feet behind him crashing on baitfish.
haha thats funny

I totally agree rocking out too hard you might miss that. I use ALL my senses when I am out on the water, bluegills popping under the pads, is a great example of what you wouldn't hear if you were rocking out too loud, but then again if I had a radio in my boat I would probably be rocking it as well. I would really want one for fishing by myrself, it would help keep me motivated, at least that is what I have found when I am busy delivering milk, a stretch of good music wakes up my senses and keeps me rolling foward no matter how much I don't want to be there, so I think their is plusses and minuses.

On second thought my next bass boat is going to have a wake board tower not to tow wakeboarders but to hang speakers from, some of those systems are amazing and have you seen the women they pull!!
