Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

About a month ago I posted a Bull Shoals Missouri discussion and received some great feedback. I'm visiting Kentucky Lake in May and curious if anyone's been there. Even if you have no info on the lake, info on any places for a good whiskey.

Hey man never been there but I like the way you drink, er I mean think...
Maybe over a whiskey I could part with some info ;-). I have fished there a half dozen times during that season. I have a picture or two on this site of some of the bass I caught during May. I can set you up with some gps coordinates also for both smallmouth and largemouth on Kentucky Lake.

ciao,
Marc
Better the whiskey, better the coordinates?

Buy your whiskey and beer ahead, especially if your staying at Benton, the place is considered dry county, at least when I went, almost 10 years ago. You might be able to buy booze at Paducha.

The place really floods during the spring and your fishing in back of these creeks in these Buck Brushes. I can't remembered the creeks' names, they were the more popular ones. We had great luck with fire tiger crankbaits, senkos, lizards and lake fork Ring worms. Chartreuse spike it everything. Some creeks can get muddy, bring some black and blue colors and of course green pumpkin.

The pan fishing is more exciting than the bass at Kentucky lake. Caught two crappies going 2.5lbs on a half oz spinnerbait and a crankbait.

Thanks Kzoo, Nice largie btw.
