Great point, Jordan. You missed a color: green pumpkin, 176 and dark brown.

A what worm? And tag,you need to stop leading these guys down a bunny trail. Everyone knows a 7" worm is too big for smallmouth. Not to mention a pink one, please, let's be real only green pumpkin and 176 work.
Maybe i have to step outside the box a little. I wouldn't think pink would be a good color in clear water situation but that's only based on everything I have read not tried. I think it would be interesting to try the exact same setups as far as line, weight etc but natural color vs pink.
Eric, the pink worms actually work extremely well in clear water.

I will also say that in my experience the smallmouth I catch on the pink worms are noticeably larger on average than the fish I catch on natural colors. However, I think you will probably get a few more bites day in and day out on natural colors.

Another thing to keep in mind is that these are not bubble gum or merthiolate colors like the Zoom Trick worms, but a transparent pink that looks very subtle in the water.

I heard Mike Bess and Eric Delay or in the favor of the Pig Pile color!
It is R.I. take on Morning Dawn the desert boys are fond of translucent pink worms with chartreuse tails for their smallies, they call it smallie candy in a couple local brands. A color that I have done well but not a flirt worm was bright sky blue.
