Joel, I am going to get another chip for my Lowrances, I did a little research and I think currently, the best one I have found , the most detailed one for the northwestern lakes is the Navionics Hotmaps Premium MSD/Premium-W6 V01.22. I found it has some good detail of Potholes, which my 2007 version doesn't, so you may want to ask about potholes if you buy someones older used card. I plan on ordering a new one this spring for use in a Lowrance X25 and/or Lowrance 26HD, let me know if you find there is a better version for the NW.
Hey Mike thanks for the tips. Unfortunatly I think my LXC25 unit will only accept the normal hotmaps chip. Take a look at this link ... http://www.navionics.com/LakeCompatiblePlotters_HM.asp?GuideType=1 I hope I'm wrong
I am going to want a chip soon as well. I have the 520cIGPS. Anyone know what chips it will accept?
Hey guys, the 2010 Hotmaps have awesome Potholes information. The 2009 did not, but last years new chip has great informtion. It shows a lot of the main channels and shallow/High spots and they did a satellite image review to ensure its accurate as I complained to them a few years back that it was crappy.
I just put my shaded depth according to the water level and you would be surprised how well it actually is.
Matter of fact i'm selling my 2010 Navionics Chips: I have the Platinum and the Regular
Let me know or PM me
