Along with Nixon's Marine, Northwest Bass is saddened to announce that Paul Nixon passed away on the evening of August 11th following cardiac surgery at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane

Paul founded Nixon's Auto and Marine in 1959. The business was sold to Jeff Priester during the 1980's, but Paul always remained a part of the Marina family. He was an inventive mechanic, a role model father and bass angler extraordinaire. He will be missed by not only his large extended family, but by
many of us in the bass fishing world as well.

Service dates are pending.

This is indeed sad news. Paul Nixon was a warrior, and was a strong tourney competitor as well. He will be missed, but he will be remembered forever. RIP, Paul.

Sad to hear.
One of the difference-makers in the fishing industry in this part of the world. To quote Jeff: "Without Paul, none of us bass guys would be doing what we're doing today."

Condolences to his family and friends.
