Advice for a rookie?
im fairly new to bass fishing. i did a bit when i was a kid with my dad but he quit going. until last saturday i had some gear that was about 25 years old. i just bought a shimano curado on a cabelas mag tough 6'6" mh rod. ive got a few spinnerbaits, some odds and ends of dads old plastics, a couple buzzbaits, and so on and so on. what are the best lakes to fish in western washington to learn on? ive been on st. clair, long lake, munn, patterson, and black lake. any advice on gear would be nice too thnx for the help!

Because it will give you the opportunity to fish with a bunch of guys that have years of experience. You will learn a ton.

Here's your best advice.Join a bass club and fish as much as possible.Thats how you will learn the most and quickest.Time on the water makes the angler.

I knew that was coming from someone sooner or later. Join a club Josh, you'll know why everyone recommended it after one meeting and a couple trips to the lake with your fellow members.
