Any Interest in an Improv tourney at Lake Whatcom this Sunday (June 10th)???
Hi All,
So I have a permit for Whatcom with Borderline this weekend. We are doing our Woodstone fundraiser tourney on Sat. We have Sunday permitted as well and the initial plan was to have a club tourney but everyone lost interest. I was thinking it would be fun to do a small tournament anyways because I still want to fish. Buy in can be whatever is favored by those that show up. Even just 5 bucks is cool if that is what people want. There will be no off limits since I will be on the lake tomorrow helping with the Woodstone tourney. I know this is VERY short notice but I literally just thought of this about an hour ago. I will be there at 5 AM Sunday and will probably start fishing around 6 so if you want to join in just show up by 5:30 and we will work out the details Sunday AM.

Got 4 boats and 6 anlgers to show up. Made for a fun Sunday! The lake is fishing pretty tough right now. Lots of confused fish doing lots of different things. Pre, post, and spawners in 56 degree water..craziness! Got the easy ones on Sat and it was even slimmer pickings on Sunday. The dock fish aren't reliable, the bed fish are few and far between and the fish on the dropoffs aren't reliable. Kind of have to mix it up between all three to catch them right now. We decided to just fish until noon and weigh in our best 3. Erik Faiola beat us all with 7.9 lbs for three fish including one dandy close to 4!
