I looked into them when I saw that Brandon Palanuik uses the 6" and I wasn't able to find them. A few people on his facebook page said they went out of business, but I've never been able to find an official announcement or anything...

Tackle Warehouse has a few styles of the Smith Baits swimbaits in stock and to my knowledge they are still on replenishment status, implying they are still in business.

Tag's right it looks like they are on replenishment status on Tackle Warehouse but I was hoping to track down a specific bait prior to a big fish tournament thats coming up you may have heard about it... Looks like I got a line on a contact there from a friend. I'll give them a shout and let you all know what I find.

I'd like to find one of their wounded Bluegill baits.  Very interesting looking bait.

If I heard correctly the company name was changed to Smith Baits after some legal issues. I'll leave names out. I have a few baitsmith swimbaits in both shad styles they made. I wish I had time to fish them:) They swim wonderfully though.

Just bought two a few months ago from TackleWarehouse. Never owned any Baitsmith but they look the same to me.
