Well there is sooo much that could work, might work and does work.. First off where you staying, are  you fishing from a boat or shore etc...its a big lake. Once ya get me a bit more info I can give you some spots to try and baits to use. 

 

This time of year it can be tough so dont expect to come out and catch 50 fish a day.

well probably be staying at the bottom of the lake, and we do have a boat,but its omly a 12 smokercraft so... We dont plan on goin to far up the lake unless its nessecary. Thanks, David

There are a few road beds and island down that way. I would try a jerk bait, lip less or a crank around those and if that is not working a good ole drop shot or football head. Stick around the 20 foot mark. There are also largemouth around the boat launch area..not alot but a few. Hope that helps..

I would eat'em up! 2 at a time and wash'um down with a tall cool budweiser!

 

Never been to banks but just felt like saying something... late night at the office.

Yeah I don't like it either... nor do I eat bass... well I would if someone else cleaned and cooked them.

Good call.. I always forget to ask that, It never really crosses my mind that people catch and eat the fish. 

 

David if you are going to keep fish, make sure to check the regs. there is a slot size on Banks lake.

I usually only cut their sides off, then I let them go. That's the only thing I ever keep are their sides.

Brian, Long time no hear. Seen you moved over to the sunny side... lucky!

 

David, I bet you could catch them over there anywhere with a Tube Bait ( GRN PKN) in 10' to 30' foot and drag it super slow. Also try some Sniper Lures Trigger grubs in various sizes on 1/4 ounce round ball heads or darter heads fished the same way.  SNUBS and MAGNUMs on a drop shot... nose hooked and wacky rigged fished the same way but you'll have to experiment and see what the fish want. Sand color and GRN PKN Copper SNUBS and MAGNUMs are my go to bait most everywhere in washington.  I'd fish anywhere you could find a steep structure change near a flat. If you get bored with that you could try on the flat with blind casts towards the shore with reaction baits. Spring Craw colors is what I'd start with but I've never been there... so probably not much help. Deep Divers and Spinnerbaits would probably produce a pretty good fish if you donated enough time to it.

How do 3 pound largies from Banks taste anyhow? I heard they taste like mud?
