BassPro Shops
I see we are getting a basspro shop ,how often do you think you will shop there? I see a couple days for me in the year it is a hundred mile drive but between cabals and Basspro it will be worth it. How do the rest of you guys feel about the new store?

Bass Pro and Cabelas should be utilized for what they are best at, camping/ammo etc. I've never gone into one of these big stores and seen the fishing areas well populated.

I was in the bass pro in Manteca California a couple years ago and they were well stocked with useable bass gear and it was very busy. They are in a really good central area to some awesome lakes and not too far from the delta. The sales staff reminded me of a much smaller more personal store, I was surprised and somewhat impressed.
I highly doubt we will see that here, but do look forward to seeing what they offer as a destination type experience. -
