Fishin' for Food

The food banks are currently under a lot of need and with the upcoming Holiday season approaching, this need will increase even more. We are hoping to see the fishing community come together and provide a happier holiday for those in need.

The Lynnwood Lightning girls softball team is planning to be at 3rivers Marine on December 11th, from 9:00am - 3pm and they are asking you to bring a cash donation, or a bag of non perishable food and drop it off with them. They will load it up and deliver it all that afternoon, to a North Sound and a South Sound Food bank who are in dire need right now.

Free bbq hotdogs and pop will be served (provided by Three Rivers Marine)

If you cant make it on the 11th, 3Riversmarine has set up some bins inside the store and will gladly store your donation until the final pick up day on the 15th. If you are stopping by between now and then, please check your cabinets and see if maybe you can take a non perishable food donation with you before you go. 

I hope that you are planning to attend the seminar being held at 3Rivers that day, but even if you cant, please take a few minutes to come on down, introduce yourself and meet a great group of young ladies who are hell bent on making this a success. Hang out and talk some fishing, or take a stroll through the store and pick up any tackle you might need. Or if you are in a rush, drive in, roll down a window and they will collect your donation with a smile as you drive off.

Your non perishable food donation will provide a happier holiday for those in need, and by each of  us giving a little, we all will be giving back a lot.
