The what was called last year, FLW National Guard Western Series, now call FLW American Series Western Division schedule is posted and it looks pretty good to me...
I was wondering what other angler's were thinking about it? Is there a better $1000.00 entry fee tournament out there that pays back better?
Northwest Bass and ABA are awesome for here at home and the payout versus entry fee's are good to go... but I don't have to travel a thousand miles to get to them and spend a bunch of money. The lakes they have picked for the Western division should be fun but will any of you be willing to make the trips or even one or two?
2 Thoughts of mine...
1. The 10 tournament schedule for the FLW Tour will prevent many of the West Coast Angler's, who fish it, from fishing this series making this a no brainer for the locals as the competition will in my opinion be limited to mostly none full-time anglers who choose to travel or local anglers. I think you'll have a few show up who have 2 boats maybe but the tournaments are pretty close and I know some won't make the trips.
2. The payouts are all the way into 50th place... this is good to put some money back in everyone's pocket to help out the costs of traveling but breaking even for tournament expenses will require a good finish on the Pro and Co sides.
