Many of you are already familiar with these two products. For those of you that are not, please take the time to click on the links below and read about these innovative products. I am a firm believer in not putting any unnecessary holes in the mouth of the fish for weighing, culling and balance beaming purposes. These two products completely eliminate the need to do so. Whether you are a serious tournament angler or a recreational angler wanting to weigh your trophy catch, one or both of these products should be in your boat. Thanks for checking them out:

Thanks Tag for posting this as you know but others may not I pro staff for Glory bags and they work great! No more holes in the mouth and no more getting wet or trying to catch fish in the livewell when trying to cull. Most important these bags reduce the stress fish have when in a livewell all day. The only thing I can say that was hard to get used to was when you open your livewell lid and look into the bag the fish don't move so you think they are dead but when you take them out of the livewell they are just fine. If anyone would like to see or try one of the bags in a tournament I would be more than willing to give you one bag to try for the day and you can see what you think.

Thanks

Thayne
Very cool Tag! I had always wondered if poking holes in the mouth was bad for bass. Until now I had been using the plastic clips for cull bobbers to eliminate the need for poking a hole. Then when I would weigh a fish or hang two from a balance beam I would hang the clip from the scale or beam. This looks even better!
I have been using the bass bag for a couple years now. There is nothing nicer than this weigh bag. No poked holes, the fish doesn't flop around too much, and get the bag wet before you insert the fish to save the slime coat.
Tag, I agree completely on the Bag-Em products. I haven't used the Glory Bags because I am concerned about the bass being able to breathe properly and be able to maintain their proper attitude (they use their pectoral fins to adjust their attitude in the water). I'm envisioning the bags keeping their pectoral fins pressed against their sides, and that it may cause them to work harder to maintain an upright position in the livewell. Maybe if I saw them in use I would have a better feel for how they affect the fish. I do agree it is better to not poke holes that are unnecessary in a bass. Thayne, can I take you up on your generous offer?
Marc I can understand your concern. The bags do expand out and they are made out of a stretch type of meterial like the slime proof nets. I would be more than happy to let you use one of the bags for a day to see what you think. If there is anyone else who would like to try one out for a day at a tournament please let me know.

Thanks

Thayne
