Washington Fishing

The final "education session" will be put on by Public Works on Wednesday, April 17th, at the Geneva Elementary School (1401 Geneva St) in Bellingham at 6:30.  This will be ten days before our open tournament.  It's now the weekend, and the earliest I can hear from PW about my last suggestion would be Monday, the fifteenth.  PW says they will be adding lanes to the lot, and designating the two southernmost docks as launch sites, and the two northernmost as recovery sites.  However, nothing was said about the prep area at the north side of the lot.  If you prep your boat in the designated area, you will have to cross the lot to the launch area to get your boat in the water.  These are just a couple of the items that have been carefully thought out and rigorously planned.  Even though I'll have to make some arrangements, I'll be there at that meeting as well.  As of April 12th, nothing has been done at the Bloedel launch.

I wish I could make this, but I'll be at work. Go get 'em.

So sorry to hear that Dana, thinking of you at this time.

Very sorry to hear about your mother.  And thanks for the note.

Joe,

I would like to be at this meeting with you. Unfortunately my mom passed away this past Friday morning and I have some family obligations to deal with. However, I will continue my outspoken verbal attack on Mayor Linville and the Bellingham city council.

I really appreciate all of the effort that you have put forth regarding the Lake Whatcom issues.

Dana, my condolences.  Sounds like I would have enjoyed knowing your mother!
