Hi Everyone,

As most of you have heard a fellow WAFISH member, Russ Baker, is about to kick off his new business selling Pheonix bass boats and performing all kinds of marine service, but catering specifically to us bassers. His official open house date is Saturday, February 27th. See the attachment for more details.

I am also excited to announce that Limit Out Marine will be a new board sponsor. His website will be live soon, look for his ad in the coming weeks and make sure to check out his website.

Russ, did you get my e-mail? Sent it to the Limit Out e-mail addy.
LOL ya, we'll see. :-)
So what kind of motors are you putting on the back of these boats? I haven't heard anything about which motors you have decided to go with, along with a boat dealer don't you have to be a motor dealer as well?
I don't really know, all I know is that I take my boat back to my dealer and he takes care of all my service and warranty issues.

Had a great time at the open house Russ. Everything looks impressive, especially the line of Phoenix boats (the red/black 721 keeps looking nicer and nicer). Can't wait to get out on the water in one of them.
Ron,

We can take care of your Yamaha or Mercury.

Sorry Russ I was at a 21st bday party, there was just nothing said about the motors that are getting rigged I think probably the #1 thing that goes wrong with anything is a motor I have never had a major problem happen with anyone boat. I guess without a motor your baot is no good.

So do they come factory rigged? I am pretty sure that Skeeters come factory rigged with only yamahas. Is this the same for your new boat line or if someone wanted a E Tec could you do that?

Hey Ron,
The Phoenix OEM's with all the brands of motor's. So if someone wanted an ETEC, SHO or whatever, the Phoenix team, factory rigs the boat. It's a marketing thing for them. They didn't want to be tied to a motor company. Not that they haven't tried to talk Phoenix off the cliff to go with Merc, Yammie, or Etec. When the new Phoenix's arrived they were rigged by the factory for the SHO's.
Ron, what's your opinion of the new SHO and what are you hearing from the FLW tour guys. Is this the new / next wave of technology with engines or guys more a wait and see before they jump on the band wagon?

Mark
