Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Lynnwood/Edmonds area Bass fishing club is looking for members who enjoy fishing and are looking to learn more about bass fishing.

We meet once a month on the first Wednesday of every month except for December when we have our yearly Christmas Party. Meetings start at 7:30 and last 1-2 hours depending on content or time of year.

We are a TBF club and a member of the Washington State Bass Federation. Yearly dues are $115 in December of every year, or when you join. $50 of which are club dues that cover the cost of club events, the remainder is State and Federation dues, which includes your FLW/TBF membership along with FLW bass magazine, and allows you to compete in the Federations three state qualifiers to represent Washington State on the Federations 12 man team each year. The top 12 finishers represent Washington at a divisional championship with opportunities to qualify for a National Championship.

We also have a youth club that is active in State and National events held each year for youth members, It will generally meets on the same Wednesday prior to the adult meeting and last about an hour. More information can be found in our club and federation youth sites. WBA youth have won State Championships and qualified for the National Championship for the last three years. As well as having two of our adult members make it to the national championship.

We generally have 5 club tournaments through out the year, with some being camping tournaments that last two days or over the weekend. We attend a bass club jamboree for all bass clubs over Memorial Day weekend, put on by our state bass federation..

Our club holds an annual fish in and BBQ for the big brothers and big sisters of north Snohomish County; we also hold conservation projects within our area and fundraisers to support our non-profit club.

We will hold our next meeting Wednesday January 8th 7pm at Lynnwood Skate and Bowl. We plan on having lots of fun this year, and learn more about how to catch bass with speakers and information at our regular meetings. Cost to join is about $10.00 bucks a month.

We welcome new members and their families to be a part of both adult and youth club activities, come and check us out on our web site or show up and bowl a game and meet some of our members.or contact us at our website(http://www.washingtonbassclub.com/) We look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings or activities.

Guys if your looking for a fun, competitive, informational club check out WBA! PJ is the presedent this year and he has worked really hard to team up with Western Bass Club and come up with a kick ass schedule! He has also come up with a great agenda for club meetings which allows club members to share information!
February- No Tourney / Club Meeting Topic "Winter Smallmouth"
March- Fish In Goodwin / Club Meeting Topic "Club Swap Meet"
April-Washington / Club Meeting Topic "Guest Speaker Tag Watson"
May-Potholes. / Club meeting Topic "Guest Speaker Russ Baker"
June-Riffe / Club Meeting Topic "Post Spawn"
July-Terrell. / Club Meeting Topic "Guest Speaker Dana Steiner"
August-Chelan / Club Meeting Topic "Suspended Smallmouth"
September-Sammamish / Club Meeting Topic "Bait Fish/Forage Fish"
October-Club Fish Off / Club Meeting Topic "Fall Fishing"
November-No Tourney / Club Meeting Topic "Aquatic Vegatation"
December -No Tourney / Club Meeting Topic "Christmas Party"
Another thing that's nice is that because we're teaming up with Western our boat counts should be up to around 20+ boats per tourney which will make the competition better for those disappointed with low boat turnouts in tourneys
