National Geographic: Hooked on Bass documentary

Did anyone see the National Geographic show tonite "Hooked on Bass"?

Shows footage of Mac Weakley's 25lb fish Dottie, and covers some history for the world record hunt. Awesome program! I only caught the last 20 minutes or so of the show (out packing the boat for tomorrow and wife called me in the house to see the show)!

Awesome! going to order the DVD program.

I caught it completely on accident! It was a very enjoyable program. I never realized before just how dedicated some of those record hunters are! Jed was saying saying that he and Mac were out there every day in the spring time from when Lake Dixon opened until dark to make sure that noone else caught Dottie. They even worked night shifts to allow themselves time to do this. They would work until 2 AM, sleep until 4 or 5 AM, get up and fish until dark, then go back to work every single day. That is dedication!
