Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Just got the new Legend ALPHA 199 on Friday afternoon. It took a little longer than expected, because of horrible weather all over the US, but that was ok. Took it out to Lake St. Clair yesterday and got about 4 hrs. of break-in done on the 225 Optimax. Here are some pictures (The pics are ok, the camera setting was messed up, I will get better ones here soon.

I am trying to set up a date where I can have a demo ride day, and maybe get an ALPHA 211 up here too for the test drive day.

I don't know about that...

I only narrowed it down to about 1,000 different paths to nowhere. Only we know the best ones.

Just be very careful crashing into some of those holes I showed you up near the dyke at Potholes. I notice that graph is kind of vulnerable to get taken out if you have it mounted while attempting some of those passages. That is if you plan on scratching up that pretty thing at all this spring.
Nick nice boat! Congrats young man. PS did you get the new lowrance HD's? have fun :)
Nick that is a sweet looking boat my friend! I bet she scoots with the 225 ProXS
I agree with Mark.
You need to be careful busting into any dyke area holes. It is always a risky move but the reward can be worth it. I would recommend keeping your stuff put away until you are pretty much in there then just re-mount. If you are successful you may find yourself in an area where no other man has ever been. How cool would that be?

Such a sweet response, but don't scare the kid. I hear there are plenty of dykes out there in the potholes, and the payoff can be a huge fattie! Go stick it Nick!
The fatties can be a lot of fun but the younger, smaller, more athletic ones can pull a lot harder and they just keep going so obviously I'd rather get a bunch of them in a day than a big heavy one.
I haven't been to Potholes very many times but I am hoping to crush it there this year.
Wish me luck.

I did get the HDS's an 8,5, and LSS-1. They are amazing, the technology with Lowrance is superb. I am not worried one bit about scratching that boat up, its a tool first, flashy object second. When it comes to Potholes, if ur not crashing through stuff and scuffing up the boat, you probably aren't catching too many fish. Looking forward to the Potholes Open!

One of our Potholes adventures at low water led us to this... and We did this

P.J., gotta love Potholes. I've done that a lot with fiberglass boats and it gets pretty daunting. A couple times the boat has ended up almost "suction cupped" to the sand, thats not fun to try and get un-stuck, but it sure makes things interesting. Especially when you see your $280 a month payment up on a sand trailer.

Misanthrope, Thank You.
