Thanks to Nixon's Marine and Northwest Bass I have been asked once again to make the trek up to Tri Cities to MC the championship. I am really looking forward to coming back up there and seeing all my friends in the Northwest. Now I don't know who is gonna win and I won't even pick a team, so many great anglers up there but I do want someone to bring me in a big ol' smallmouth from the river.....

I am going to say Don Hogue and Ray Lehrman with a two day total of 32.5 lbs!

i'm going to say watch out for the sleeper. this is a different body of water in September than it is, quite possibly, any other time of the year. I honestly think and hope that it will be somebody different this year. Not taking anything away from the above mentioned but there are a hell of a lot more really and exceptionally good anglers than the obvious. In other words i hope my ass wakes the F up this weekend and plays a big part in the Johnson and Jordan shocker !

I'm going with McConville & Hyde. Its their turn. He's put in the time and there are some things happening now on the river that are playing into their hands. PS If the wind blows it should help the bite for some bigger fish. I predict 36.10
