Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Time to catch the fish of a lifetime.  CCBC (Capital City Bass Club) is hosting the Silver Lake Open on March 20th this year.  Last year we had three 7 pounders weigh in at the scales.  Anyone out there think they can hook an 8 pounder?  What kind of baits will be the ones to hook the big ones?  Any predictions for the winning weight?

Tight lines everyone.

I predict there are only 10 boats signed up so far ;) I hope it's a good tourny, I missed last year.
Weather holds up and it'll take 18.5 lbs. to win it.
If the above holds true, I think it'll be a spinnerbait and reaction bait bite. In past years, it's been so darn cold, it's been a jig bite only it seems. Anyways, that's my prediction for what it's worth.

I think if the weather stays stable like it has been we'll 15+ but if the temps fall to what they usually are we will be back to the one or two fish winners where big fish can win the tournament by itself. Lets hope for the best but its always fun anyway.
mild winter+warm water+ big fish= 20 plus to win get ur game faces on boys.
Doubt It!
