Mike was a good guy, it took awhile to get to know him, but when I did he would share alot of things. He will be missed aroud the dinner table at the Frostbite in Nov., he had a passion for fishing and was a good stick. He will be missed
Mike, I will miss you.
Mike was in our club for a while before he moved to the eastside.I fished with him a couple years ago at a federation tournament at moses . Sure will miss him he was a great guy.
Didn't know him much but I fished with him on Banks for the federation tourny last year. He said he had been up and down the past little bit.

RIP
Fished my first tournaments ever with Mike. He taught me a lot of things. Sad to see him go.

God bless him and his family
I didn't know Mike well, but its always sad to see a member of our community pass. my thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family and friends.
I also fished my first tournament ever with Mike. It was a 2 day tournament on Goodwin. My boat broke down on the 1st day and Mike took me onto his boat to finish the 2nd day. I also worked with Mike at Dodge for years. He sure loved bass fishing. He will be missed. We should all throw a 176 single tail grub on a darter head for him this weekend. He was a Master at it!

RIP
i agree!! that was his favorite bait to throw.

Mike was a tough fisherman. I think he realy excelled on banks, and seemed to do better on the smallmouth. Last year on PH his main motor wouldn't start. He used his electric and fished around the launch until noon when his electric died. He finished that tournament, by himself in 4th with around 18 pounds.
yea, he knew what he was doing

Sad to see him go! If anyone knows when and where services will be held please keep us updated on this thred.
Very sad news, Mike was an asset to the sport. He shared alot of knowledge with many of us through the years. If any one has information on his wishes please let us know. Is there a specific cancer fund or charity for memorial donations he would have preferred?
