The Results Are In! Lake Washington Fish-In Report
I want to start by saying thanks to everyone who came to the fish in today. It was awesome meeting you all in person and seeing those of you I haven't seen in a while. I also wanted to give a big thanks to our sponsors for this event WIRED Energy drinks for handing out free WIRED to everyone in attendance, and Pure Fishing/Berkley for donating some killer baits, stickers and weigh in bags. I think everyone went home with something.
A few of the boats present today:
Now for the good stuff. We had 18 boats at our fish in today for a total of about 40 anglers! There were alot of fish caught today, considering the winter time conditions. Nice work to everyone. Here's how the top guys finished:
1st Place Smallmouth: Nick Berto - 20" 4lbs 10oz
3rd Place: Shawn McDaniels - 18.75"
Honorable mentions of those who caught fish in the 18" range include Tyler Walker (bigassbass), Jordan Doucet, Billy Smith, Mark Maderos, and a few I missed for sure.
Here's the pic of my 18" 3lb7oz Smallmouth from this morning.
If anyone else has some pics from today, post them up and do some bragging. You deserve it for powering through this cold winter day.

As the Fish in thread progressed it appeared that not many seats were to be had, so rather than making plans to show up and 'hopefully' get one, I made a decision to fish with a friend of mine out of Kenmore. Seems like alot more boats showed than folks posted leaving the count in the air. Always next time I guess.
BTW nice fish everyone and sorry I missed this one. -

Thanks for a great time and some free stuff guys! I had a 5-6 lb. trout follower but didn't hook up with anything. Awesome pics and nice hog Nick.

Have to say the first WAFISH fish-in was a success! Awesome turnout! It was cool to see members of the club again and meet some new people! Also enjoyed the aftermath... cool deal with the free energy drinks , swag, and baits!
There were some definate pigs out there as evident by Nick's fish!
Thanks again for setting up a great tournament!
Can't wait for the next one! -
