I have an Aqua View. I've had it for a while and it's great. I've got the built in DVS so I can shoot stills as well as record video. Pretty cool. Retail's over 500. got it at GI Joes closing for 300. Worth every penny.
Probably not worth the investment for fishing, but great for finding the rod and reel that was left on the bottom of the lake.
Found a good used AquaVu on eBay........don't pay retail, and don't expect to catch fish with it.
Upgrade your electronics!!
I have had one for YEARS and I have used it maybe a dozen times. I should be using it more, but I feel a little funny when a rod and reel is not in my hands. And No, I won't sell my Aqua-Vu. lol
I think Chris Ferry has/had one for sale in the classifieds section. Talk with him he'll give you an honest opinion
Ya right Todd.... not worth it? Wes, If you want to get away from the comunity holes and get a better understanding of the lay out of certain bodys of water, its tough to beat. Can't catch fish with it, doesn't replace our electronics, but you might recover your 500. set up (right Gary) . Investment, thats funny. Get a used one and see whats really down there
