Go to the Mardon store and talk to Rob. He will tell you what lakes are fishing good for whatever you want to catch. Some of my favorites are Lower Goose, Long, Soda, Hutchinson & Shiner, and Upper Goose but its closed already.
lower goose and hutchinson. nice smallies and largies in lower goose. been working there alot lately. its not really getting any pressure but the few that are fishing it are diong well. ..just remember that you cant have a gas motor in hutchinson even if your not using it. lots of people catching walleye in soda also. havnt checked to many bass fishermen in there. if its not to far, stan coffin and evergreen are awesome bass lakes. they are in the quincy lakes wildlife area
This is very true and they won't steer you wrong :)

And it usually helps when you ask them what works at those lakes and make a small purchase. They are great with the info, so it shows your appreciation.......

If you know the area at all you can launch at the power lines or job corp. dike. both of these are off the south frontage road between Hiawatha and Mae valley road
