Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I was told by a fellow angler that this tournament was alot of fun so i was just wonder how i would sign up/register, how much the enter fee is, and if there is an age limit or any rules reguarding that. I realize that its a couple months away but i'd like to be able to plan for it if i decide to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This year is a little different due to the TBF qualifier on Lake Washington and the Open overlapping. We are having the open on Sunday April, 29th instead of on the 28th.  Just show up on the 29th with a partner, entry fee ($100 + $20 big fish per team), and completed entry form at Bloedel Donovan Park.  I will post more details at a later time.  Just take it easy on the rest of us :)! This lake is getting harder and harder for me to catch big fish out of every year!  I promise I will have five over 2 lbs in the well though!  Looking forward to seeing you as well as everyone else that decides to show up there! It is always a fun tournament, the fishing is great and its hard to have a bad time on that lake!!

Definitely worth doing the Whatcom open. It's a great body of water, and a great time of year to fish it after it has not been pressured for 6 months. I'd like to do it again this year if I can find a boater that wants to haul my big ass around.

It's a good event for sure.

I should be healed up from this weekend by then, I'll be there to donate to you guys again!

This event is a an event I look forward to all year round.  Definitely plan on coming.

Also, just a heads up to everyone.  I haven't posted anything yet but when I do, there will be updated rules with the prefish rules re written.  The lake will be closed to prefishing on Saturday April 28th.  If you decide to fish on Saturday, you will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.  Just a heads up FYI.

I look forward to the this event each year , What a fun day on the lake !

Chris ferry better bring his A Game this year , if memory serves me correctly i think the score after last year is officially 1 to 1 ..looks like the open will be a tie breaker , dont let me get into my zone !!! haha

I can't speak for Chris but I won't "let" you anywhere near your "zone" this time!
(It cost me too much money last fall) just messing with you man, see you there.

Anyone that steals Dez's crankbait and/or jerkbait box automatically gets DQ'ed so don't get any ideas!!

Willie, let Dez have his magic zone.  Go catch a few slab largemouth and win by 5 pounds.

Maybe anyone with Tag's number in their cell that comes in with more than one largemouth should be DQ'ed as well? LOL  All of a sudden I love being tournament director!  Why learn how to fish when you can just DQ everyone instead!?

I'm flying in a ringer to help me for this tournament, won't be able to fish any other events after his fee but a win here would be worth it.
I hear Dez is hiring an off duty mall cop to guard his stuff.
