AND HIS PIMPING HAT

My dad.  I just don't get to fish with him as much as I would like to.  As far as tournament guys go, I would like a day in the boat with Aaron E. and gain some of his vast knowledge of the Potholes.  I would also like a day with Hobbs Jr to see how he picks apart water and some of his thought process when doing so. I would also love a day with Marc Marcantonio and learn how to use my electronics to their full potential. One more guy is Mark "Angrylove" Maderos.  I pick up something new from him everytime we go out.

My vote would be for Jerry Percifield...........I heard he is a blast and loves spitting and cussing, and even if you dont catch any fish you at least get one heck of a boat ride!

I wouldnt mind  a day on Washington or Sammy with Hobbs Jr .. Could use some of his knowledge when it comes to vertical fishing .Its one of the many parts of fishing that i have yet to master.I also would like to spend a day with Tag on some of the local lakes fishing for greens in the fall.

Parnicky, Wolski, Marcantonio, Jon Werner, the list is long but hopefully I will get to spend some time with these guys and a bunch more. Not Mike Bess, he is nutty!
One more, Eric Delay, I think he would be fun to fish with and he probably needs to get out.

'Every once in awhile' is truly a understatment for someone fishing over 25yrs !!  I believe the award is called "A.O.Y"  for a good reason . lol

My partner and i earned the "R.O.Y"  award and trust me when i say we had many Rookie like moments out there this year .

Dez,

Mr. makes me sound like an old man. I guess after fishing tournaments for 26 years and the fact that I'm close to turning 49, could classify me as an "old geezer". When I'm out on the water, I feel like a 20 year old "young pup". Just remember, even an old blind dog can stumble upon a bone once in awhile.

I Would really like to get out on lake with Mr Dana Steiner or Don Hogue, Im positive that it would be a learning experience for myself .

Willie,

Fishing with me would teach what not to do.  It would be a very valuable lesson.

I just may try to knock a fish off that you are trying to land with my spinnerbait....

I have been in that boat before......it's not pretty. I will still fish with him however because you just never know what will happen next.

I know who I never want to fish with ever again, his name is Mike Bess and he is a REAL DONKEY and nuttier than a squirrel turd!

We should get together and make a video of what didn't work this year, I have lots of footage ready!

I was blessed to have an awsome year of back seating with a bunch of good sticks. Willie Parsons, Johnny Walker, Phil Johnson, Brian Merlini, and Derek Eggiman. I learned so much this year, and I'm very grateful for these guys letting me ride along with them. Next year it would be sweet to get out with Ron Hobbs Jr.(hint, hint...), but really, I'd like to get a chance eventually to back seat with all y'all, because I have found that there is something to learn from each experience on the water. I absorb something useful from every boater I fish with. Everyone seems to have something that is worth taking note of.

Still waitin' for Ryan Brown to take me out at Tri Cities....

I think a day with Ron Hobbs Jr. on a lake he doesnt know would be a blast. To see his decision making making process and how he eliminates unproductive water to make the most of his time. On a side note for those who have never tried it, look into the State Qualifier Series of tournaments, they are draw format and as backseaters we do get to fish a day with many good sticks. I have fishhed with many top names over the years and has taught me alot... Even if sometimes its what NOT to do...
