Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

This is no joke! Saw it with my own eyes today on Lake Washington. It came out from under a building that over hangs the water. It came out and stopped 10 feet from my boat and then shot back under the building. A FRICKIN MUSKY! Not a small one either. Easily over 4 foot long. I pitched a swimbait under the building and it followed it out 1 time. Then I never saw it again. I fish Lake Washington a lot and have never seen a Musky. Has anyone else seen any? This is crazy! I heard someone caught some Walleye a while back and now I saw a musky. Wow!

Just be sure to dangle your semi pro staff minnow in front of her......see if she will eat it like the carp did.....

I think it was a Tiger Musky? Honestly I couldn't tell you the difference. But no doubt about it. It was a Musky. I can't say where yet because I was pre-fishing for Nw Bass this next weekend. I will tell tou exactly where after Saturday. I bet you could catch it with a swim bait. There were a bunch of bluegill around it. I think it may have been feeding on them? I about crapped my pants when I saw it. But I got a really good look at it 2 times. Its snout was really wide. Dark head and dark tail with a light color body. The tail was kinda maroon in color. Head was brownish. It had vertical stripes but they were not very colorful. It was very shollow.
Ok it was up in Yarrow Bay on the very last set of appartements going into the bay. They are yellow. It was on the south side where all of the pumpkinseed and bluegill are hanging out. I checked durring the tournament but it was not there. Neither were the Bass. Not sure why ?
I knew something funny was going on saturday when you tried to grab my lip from behind me as i was putting fish in the liewell. You are taking this partner thing too far chris.
