Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

My good friend just got a new boat its a 17ft Excel aluminum and he's looking for a 12volt bow mount. Between 45-55lbs thrust is ideal. Electric or cable steer will be considered, but the smaller pedal the electric offers would be good since bow room is fairly limited. Just thought I'd post since spring is right around the corner and someone might have got a new motor over the holidays.

THANKS

I have a Minn Kota 2005 46# All Terrain with 2 deep cell batteries- 1 was new last summer, Optima Blue Top. It is cable steer and I sold the boat I used to have it on. Asking for $250 - will throw in the batteries for another $150. Give me a call - 931-572-7027, ask for Craig
Thanks Craig I spoke to my buddy last night and he did some measuring and some thinking, and he has decided since the bow platform is so tight on his Excel shallow water duck boat he is going to have to go with an Electric steer bow mount (Powerdrive). He is probably going to end up running it from the main floor of the boat or the rear. Thanks for the response Craig!
