The tournament fished really well. We had some rain Sat morning which seemed to help. My Dad and I lost one on Sunday that i am guessing in the 4.5 range and another around 4.

Sat everyone seemed to get good numbers.

Sunday was tougher.. we got 7 bites all day and lost 2 fish, one was a good 4 lb green.

Seemed like the bite was slow for everyone on Sunday.

The tournament did have some really nice size fished weighed in..2 over 5 lbs. one was a green and one brown.

Hopefully we will keep getting more people showing up to this tournament.

Banks lake in August is just getting better and better. The last couple years the sacks have been progressively larger. The bait population is better than I've ever seen. This tournament should be drawing more people. There is no reason this tournament shouldn't draw more than 35 boats.

Chad and I would have been there if it weren't for the ABA conflict at Silver. Would love to make it next year.

I guess the big issue is that when Spokane Valley dropped the tournament no one knew that someone else picked it up. We (Banks Lake Bass Club) has been trying to rebuild it since. We have been getting a few more boats every year. We are gonna really push next year to hit 25 boats. Same weekend (first weekend in Aug). Hope to see some more guys out there.

FYI 1st place paid out over $1000 bucks. Big fish was $270
