I'm not upset. but what you also don't know is I use a catch and release livewell additive that also helps with slime coat and calms so they don't have to marinate on carpet for pic. thx for your concerns and I'm sorry if pic offends.
No, not every fish gets parasites and die. Swung fish don't lay flat on the carpet, and certainly not for prolonged periods of time. IF a fish is soaking wet and touches the carpet they will be ok. If they marinate on the carpet, that is what will leave them open to problems.
As for your tournament point...tournaments place necessary stress on fish. The key word being necessary. Don't be upset by people's comments. Laying bass on carpet has been a pet peave of many people for a long time. Its not a big deal. Now you know and you can either keep doing it, or not. up to you.
so everyone who swing fish in their boat on carpet get parasites and die later? your really going to tell me that stuffing them in live well for a few hours then a tourney bag is better for bass then 10 sec on carpet for pic?
They won't "look" hurt. They have their slimecoat wiped by the carpet, get parasites, and infection then die later.
Good fish.
no smb hurt during photo was flying solo at time so only way for pic. all looked happy when released
It's horrible for fishes health to be put onto carpet, just saying if you didn't know, looks like some good fish
Wow. Looks like I gotta make it to Lake Stevens.. Great job!
